Who is CARTS

We are a very committed and compassionate group of volunteers who support and encourage those who are caught in homelessness and poverty and who are living on the streets of Victoria.  We have been doing our outreach for four years now, seeing the number of our street family triple in size over that time.  The need is so great and we have been so blessed with donations of all types, from many people, to help us accomplish our mission.

We are called CARTS as we use 5 little garden carts/wagons to transport food, beverage, and warm, clean, donated clothing and blankets, to those in need.  Because we are portable with the CARTS, we are able to go reach out to the lonely and disadvantaged by being able to go right where those in need are.

We are out on the streets every Friday night and one Sunday night a month.  These are the hours when shelters and food agencies are closed and so we have become an integral part of providing what we can at that time.  

Our goal is to raise $3,000.00 to help us purchase warm socks, gloves, toques, underwear and blankets for the winter months ahead as well as nutritious food and a warm beverage.
